Crawford Broadcasting enters San Diego

Crawford Broadcasting has agreed to purchase Spanish Religious KNSN-AM San Diego from Multicultural Broadcasting.
The price was $1.5 million for the 550-watter on 1240 kHz. Multicultural is led by Arthur Liu and Crawfrod is led by Don Crawford. Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. was the exclusive broker in the deal. He tells RBR-TVBR:
"This was a very quick and easy deal between two longtime broadcasters, the buyer already has a presence in Southern California which he wanted to expand and the seller wants to concentrate on his highly profitable stations. KNSN used to be KSON-AM and formerly was owned by Jefferson Pilot." | |
